Spotted in the Ultimate Guide, Le Démotivateur and posts by @LaRoutine and Emma @iammoana, the employees of Los Pollos Hermanos have aroused the curiosity of the French: what are they doing in France?
The answer is clear: they're not launching their burgers, they've come all the way to France to taste the new, completely revised recipe for McCrispy, the burger that could put them in the shade. The new benchmark for crispy chicken burgers isn't Los Pollos Hermanos, for real, it's McDonald's.
Yes, after several months of development, it's a McCrispy that's wearing its colors loud and clear: a 100% crispy chicken filet marinated in black and cayenne pepper, a generous, lightly peppered mayo, a soft, perfectly toasted brioche bun, this new recipe McCrispy has all the makings of a great Crispy Chicken Burger.
For the occasion, the mythical fried chicken franchise from one of the most iconic TV series of recent decades comes to France. Even if their fried chicken is iconic across the Atlantic, employees have come all the way to France to taste the new McCrispy recipe.
And they're unanimous: it's a crispy banger.
This campaign orchestrated by TBWA for McDonald's, in collaboration with Starcom Publicis and Kingcom, will be deployed on TV and VOL in 30'', 15'' and 6'', with a strong component on social networks. It will also be accompanied by an OOH and DOOH poster campaign.
This new classic, for real, is McDonald's.
