Stay lazy

WWF France

This summer, WWF France is raising awareness about protecting Posidonia, an underwater grass (not algae) that few people know about, but which captures 5 to 8 times more CO2 per hectare than the Amazon rainforest and is home to nearly 25% of Mediterranean aquatic species. And because we know that acting for a good cause is engaging, WWF France and the Mogul agency are offering us the easiest way to take action: being lazy.

The anchoring of pleasure boats is the main cause of Posidonia plants being uprooted. By inviting us to chill on the beach or float on a buoy instead of boating, WWF France elevates our summer laziness to the status of a national cause.

A campaign led by three content creators, Acrobapt, Lea Camilleri, and Moguiz, who reveal their own ways of protecting Posidonia, and visible on Instagram and TikTok from June 8. This is the first campaign that shows us that we can do things for the sea even when we're doing nothing.
