Mercredi wishes you a hearty meal at McDonald's France.
McDonald's France has teamed up with Netflix for the release of season 2 of the phenomenon series Mercredi. A new way for the brand to reaffirm its historic promise to welcome everyone as they are, without filter or compromise, through the "We all have a strange side" campaign. So, from September 2 to 29, McDonald's is celebrating difference and singularity in its restaurants all over France. "Come as you are"... even the strangest of you!
This ambitious advertising campaign, produced by TBWA\Paris, is built around:
A "Banquet of the Strange" advertising film, with the support of Netflix, and directed by Tom Green, using all the series' codes, which stages the meeting between the worlds of Mercredi and McDonald's through a spot inspired by Nevermore Academy, the school for outcasts, and broadcast via a massive TV plan.
Sponsorship of part 2 of season 2 of Mercredi, available from September 3 on Netflix.
A tactical digital orchestration (VOL, Social Media, display) to address fans, with a reinforced collaboration on the BeReal social platform, recognized for its authenticity, with the creation of an immersive and innovative format.
A shift of social networks to Dark Mode, letting the brand's Community Manager reveal his strange side.Broadcast from September 2, 2025.
