Since 2015, McDonald's France has been offering families and youngsters a choice between a book or a toy on all its Happy Meal menus. By inviting them to choose the book, the chain is mobilizing to pass on a taste for reading to a whole generation of children and offer family reading moments. And it works: over the past 5 years, more than 60 million books have been distributed to millions of children all over France.
