Bringing smiles back to burn victims

BURNS & SMILES

Created at the instigation of Laurent Gaudens, a burn victim himself since the age of 4, the Burns and Smiles association aims to improve the daily lives of burn victims through a powerful community of mutual aid on the Internet.

TBWA Paris and \ELSE tell the story of one of these fire victims, who is followed on a very special evening, to raise public awareness and help burn victims come out of the shadows. The film - directed by Nicolas Galoux - shows us just how much the gaze of others and self-acceptance are two essential keys to breaking the isolation of burn victims and putting a smile back on their faces, much more than just once a year.

Prisoner

France Parkinson is launching its new awareness campaign for Parkinson’s disease in partnership with TBWA\ Paris. Living with Parkinson’s disease means becoming a prisoner of a body that no longer belongs to us. In France, more than 270,000 people live with Parkinson’s disease, and thousands of new cases are diagnosed each year. Yet the disease remains largely unknown to the general public. In fact, more than 7 out of 10 French people do not recognize its most debilitating motor symptoms: slowness of movement and rigidity.
