Schweppes redefines the art of savoring with an ambitious film campaign that takes us to Mars.
In March 2025, the brand is launching a new era of its "Take your time*" platform, inviting people to slow down in a hurried world. The campaign, imagined by TBWA\Paris and Suntory Beverage & Food, breaks away from the usual advertising codes, highlighting a unique sensory experience rather than a celebrity.
The film follows Ava, an astronaut who, as she sets foot on Mars, chooses to stop and enjoy a Schweppes. This action symbolizes the importance of savoring real moments. The campaign continues with a series of films featuring Schweppes Citrus, Ginger Beer and Indian Tonic, in which Ava explores Mars and discovers Martian flavors.
The soundtrack, an a cappella version of David Bowie's Space Oddity, reinforces the intimacy of the moment. Directed by Susanna White and produced by Ridley Scott Associates, the campaign takes a visionary cinematic approach, supported by experts such as John Mathieson (Director of Photography for Gladiator I & II), Will Htay (Set Designer for Star Wars), and Janty Yates (Oscar-winning Costume Designer for Alone on Mars).
The use of advanced technology and LED screens to create a realistic Martian landscape makes the act of savoring a moment as monumental as landing on a new planet.
With this campaign, Schweppes reaffirms its identity: more than just a drink, it's a ritual to be savored, even on Mars.
